Floral is an aroma descriptor and can range from super intense to really subtle. Often with white wines, it is an aroma of jasmine (light white wines), rose (Gewürztraminer), or honeysuckle (Muscat). Red wines — especially Pinot Noir, Malbec, and Syrah — can have notes of rose, violet, or peony.
