Cultivar is a wine bar in the Marina in San Francisco that offers wine by the glass, wine tastings, beer and cider, retail wine purchases, and a full menu (including brunch on the weekends).

The food menu is full of locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients — when it’s in season, try the tomato + burrata!

Cultivar has its own wine label, but the wine bar also serves and sells wines from around California. I got the Aromatic Whites flight for $18, featuring:
- 2016 Foot of the Bed Cellars Dry Riesling, Anderson Valley: Notes of key lime, yellow nectarine, and white flowers
- 2016 Hudson Vineyards “White Study” Carneros: Earthy minerality balanced by hints of apple blossom and spring herbs
- 2016 Cultivar Sauvignon Blanc, Rutherford: Expressive with notes of grapefruit rind, key lime, and fresh basil on the nose, and a richness of flint minerals, lemongrass, and passion fruit on the palate
More information:
The bar also offers “intimate and personalized tastings” of Cultivar Wine and Caspar Estate wines by appointment.
There’s a wine club you can join, or you can host a private event.
