Winery Recommendation: Kendall-Jackson

Kendall-Jackson is one of the most beautiful wineries in Sonoma County with expansive grounds (four acres!), a gorgeous estate, and seven lush gardens which they use to create their delicious food and wine pairings.

They offer a variety of tasting experiences:

  • Signature Tastings – $15
  • Estate Tastings – $20
  • Garden Tour & Tasting – $25
  • Private Tasting – Call for pricing and availability

They also offer pairings for wine & food, wine & chocolate, AND wine & cheese. (Current menus.) In fact, Kendall-Jackson was a stop on my bachelorette wine tasting and we did both the cheese and wine AND the wine and food pairings. Highly recommended — it was the BEST.

Wine & Food Pairing

“Savor the aromatic essence of this five-course experience that focuses on a selection of our small-production, limited-release wines.”

Wine & Cheese Pairing

“Pamper your taste for the finer things in life with artisan cheeses from Sonoma and Marin Counties—as paired with food-friendly varietals.”

Wine & Chocolate Pairing

“Celebrate your decadent side with a flight featuring five exquisite dessert wines—each accompanied by its own seasonally focused sweet bite.”

I’ve actually done the food and wine pairing three times, and the menu was different for each of my visits, but it was always perfection.

I’ve also done the wine and cheese pairing a few times…

The wine and chocolate pairing is the only one I haven’t done – but it’s at the top of my list.

And, shockingly, even though they have a beautiful winery and a top-notch chef, they do not do weddings! (When I was planning mine, I asked…)

KJ is also one of my favorite grocery store wines – their Avant and Estate Sauvignon Blancs are amazing and at a great price point.

As a bonus, Kendall-Jackson sponsors my favorite music festival, Country Summer! It’s really nice to have good wine while listening to live music…

Have you ever been to Kendall-Jackson or had their wines? Do you have any winery recommendations?
