Region. is an innovative wine bar in Sebastopol, with a desirable corner location in The Barlow. It’s a whole new way to experience wine!

In a space as unique as the wine, you will have two options. In one room you can experience 50 wines in self-serving WineStation machines, in the other we offer the traditional wine tasting experience with hand pouring bottle service from the [featured] Winemakers themselves. Each week the wine-tasting bar rotates to one of our 25 Wineries – Monday thru Sunday will be a new experience.

The self-serving WineStation machines are so cool, and are the perfect way to try new wines! You get a Region. card upon entering the wine bar, and by swiping that in the machines, you can select the wine you want to try as a “taste,” a “half glass,” or a “full glass.” You can also purchase bottles of any wines you tasted and loved.

I really enjoy that you have the opportunity to get a taste of a wine before you commit to a glass, and I love that you can essentially make your own tasting flight. Customizable experiences like this are everything!

For wine tasting traditionalists, they also offer a great guided tasting by the winemaker of Region.’s Winery of the Week. Check out their events page for the upcoming Winery of the Week features and other fun events.

The wine bar’s ambiance is fabulous. It has a covered outdoor patio space that makes the whole place feel nice and open, and the outdoor space includes fire pits and couches to make the experience super cozy.

I also saw a pizza get delivered from Acre Pizza while I was there, and they have a menu with offerings from Kosho Sushi and The Farmer’s Wife certain days of the week. Check out Region.’s website for details, but the fact that you can get food delivered is awesome.

All in all, this wine bar is cute and innovative, and will definitely be a place I regularly patronize while my husband and I are in Sebastopol!
