Guacamole is the perfect complement to delicious Mexican food (and unfortunately is almost ALWAYS extra $$, which is why I often make it myself!), and it usually goes with a margarita or a nice Corona or Dos Equis, but — we gotta know — what kind of wine should we drink when we gorge ourselves on chips and guac?
Well, because of the fatty avocados and all of the spices used to flavor it, pairing guacamole with a minerally, acidic, and grassy Sauvignon Blanc is perfect to help cut through the richness!

Do you like guacamole? (I know, weird question, it seems like everyone likes it, but I know a few people who actually don’t!)
What weird wine pairing do you want to see next? Drop it in the comments!
Cheers!

I like the idea of drinking Sauvignon Blanc with guacamole. Chocolate and wine is an interesting pairing: lots of people are horrified at the idea, but I do believe it can work.
