I Made This! Sugared Grapes Soaked in Prosecco

Happy, happy New Year! As part of our celebration — which consisted of ringing in 2019 with a group of friends in PJs at my house — I made sugared grapes soaked in Prosecco, and they were a major hit!

Here’s how it’s done…

Step 1

In a large bowl, soak green grapes in a bottle of Prosecco for 15 minutes or up to 8 hours. I soaked them for 4 hours.

The longer the grapes soak, the more pronounced the Prosecco flavor will be, and the boozier they are.

Step 2

Use a slotted spoon and remove the grapes from the Prosecco. Do not dry them off. Roll them in sugar. I used regular sugar but you can use a more coarse sanding sugar for a crunch, if you’d like.

Step 3

Serve immediately, or refrigerate until needed.

It’s that easy! Hope you enjoy.

Cheers!
