I’m at the stage in life where I am going to A LOT of weddings. The gift is always one of the hardest parts… Do you buy something off of the registry, knowing it’s something they “want” but also feeling like it’s not exactly special? Or do you go out on a limb and try to personalize the gift to make it a good representation of your relationship with the happy couple?
Well, if the couple likes wine I sometimes enjoy going out on a limb and finding the perfect gift, unique to them. To inspire you to maybe do the same, I’ve gathered five of my absolute favorite wine-related wedding gifts:
1. Boulevard Newlywed Anniversary Wine Box

Source: Wayfair
Choose wines you know they enjoy, wines from wineries they have been to together, or your personal favorite wines (and a note about why). Tip: In the “Three Year Anniversary” slot, make sure to put in a wine that can age a little.

You can also get a version of this on Uncommon Goods that you can customize with the couple’s initials and personal messages. This one celebrates the 1st, 3rd, and 5th anniversaries (and is a little more expensive at $150-190).
2. Oenophilia Picnic Wine Table

Source: Bed, Bath, and Beyond
Few things are better and more romantic – at least in my opinion – than sharing wine and cheese in the park or in your backyard with the one you love. That’s why this wine-specific picnic table is perfect to enhance a romantic afternoon between the newlyweds!

Fun fact: Oenophilia refers to the enjoyment of wine. Oenophiles are also known as wine aficionados or connoisseurs.
3. ‘Under the Influence’ Stemless Wine Glass Set

Source: Uncommon Goods
Does the couple have a great sense of humor? Then these stemless wine glasses are right up their alley – and it’s my personal opinion that one can never have too many wine glasses!

4. The Durand Corkscrew

Source: The Durand
If the couple has a collection of older bottles, this Durand corkscrew is a necessity. It combines the classic corkscrew with horizontal compression from a forked ‘Ah, so’–style wine opener. It makes it so you won’t rip the middles out of crumbly corks, nor does it allow you to accidentally push a loose cork into the bottle.

5. Adventure Wine Tote

Source: Uncommon Goods
Do the soon-to-be husband and wife enjoy adventures, but still want to be able to enjoy their wine? This is the perfect gift for them, complete with wine compartments, cheese board/table, stemless glasses, corkscrew, and bottle stopper!
