DIY Cork Board Project!

If you’re like me, you have a lot of extra corks around the house… Time to make good use of them!

DIY Cork Board

How to:

  1. Pick up a scrap piece of plywood and gather your corks.
  2. Put a sheet, towel, or some newspaper down to contain the mess.
  3. Use wood glue to stick the corks and create a pattern — we chose chevron. Tip: Put a heavy book on top of the recently glued corks while they dry to keep them in place and help them adhere.
  4. Once the glue dries, mount it to the wall!

It’s that easy! And now we have an awesome bulletin board that showcases our love of wine. (We still have a lot of corks around, though.)

Have you made any cork projects? Leave a comment – I’d love to see it!

Cheers!
